Hyderabad, August 2025 – The Sudha Reddy Foundation, in association with the MEIL Foundation, unveiled the 2nd Edition of the ‘Pink Power Run’, dedicated to driving mass awareness and mobilising funds in the fight against breast cancer. The announcement was revealed today at an exclusive Press Conference at Trident Hyderabad, setting the stage for Hyderabad’s most anticipated run of the year.
This year’s run carries the inspiring tagline “Stride and Shine”, a call to move forward with courage, hope, and resilience. It reflects the belief that every step, whether taken in healing, in solidarity, or in advocacy, has the power to light the way for others. The theme honours survivors, supports those in the fight, and reminds every participant that their ‘stride’ can park change and their ‘shine’ can inspire an entire community.
Gracing the occasion were Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri, a courageous breast cancer survivor, and Miss Asia 2025, Krishnah Gravidez, whose presence added both glamour and gravitas to the announcement. On Sunday, 28th September 2025, the two global icons will join thousands at Necklace Road, transforming the city’s heart into a sea of pink in solidarity, strength, and hope.
A Movement Beyond a Marathon
The Pink Power Run is not just a marathon. It is a powerful movement uniting a community in the fight against breast cancer. Beyond the finish line, it champions the life-saving importance of early detection, advocates regular preventive health screenings, and stands in unwavering solidarity with survivors.
The 2025 edition features 10K, 5K, and 3K runs, opening its track to participants of every age, background, and fitness level. A defining feature of Pink Power Run 2.0 will be the inclusion of women runners from rural communities – a bold stride towards narrowing the urban-rural gap in health awareness and ensuring that the message of hope and prevention resonates far beyond city limits.
